📋 Description

• Act as the first point of contact for employees regarding everyday inquiries about company policies, HR processes, and basic payroll or benefits questions • Facilitate onboarding for new hires, contractors, and vendors • Conduct regular employee check-ins • Support culture initiatives • Coordinate and roll out the annual performance review cycle • Help facilitate and coordinate team training and development programs • Maintain accurate employee records and data within HRIS platforms • Maintain organized digital records to ensure legal compliance • Respond to employment verification requests and unemployment claims • Execute ad hoc HR projects, including system cleanups, policy updates, and process documentation • Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across multiple US states • Cross-train on domestic payroll processing and serve as the primary backup for US payroll • Process timely payments for the global network of independent contractors • Assist with annual benefits Open Enrollment • Assist with full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing candidates, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews • Participate in a two-step hiring process involving recruiter and direct-supervisor video interviews

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of progressive HR experience • Experience supporting a global, remote organization highly preferred • Hands-on knowledge of Paylocity or a similar comprehensive HRIS platform • Proficiency with Slack, Zoom, and Google Workspace • Experience supporting employee lifecycle processes, payroll or benefits administration, HRIS, and compliance • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail for compliance audits and payroll data • Growth mindset and eagerness to learn • Strong interpersonal skills and a patient, helpful customer-service approach • Proven ability to handle sensitive personal data and maintain strict confidentiality • Ability to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete Form I-9 upon hire • Alignment with a collaborative, motivated, tech-adopting, organized, inquisitive, and optimization-oriented working style
