📋 Description

• Provide reliability engineering support for operations and maintenance of buildings, infrastructure, and equipment assets • Implement strategic asset management plans integrating building automation, energy management, maintenance programs, and life-cycle asset management • Develop reliability analysis methods for components, equipment, and processes • Acquire and analyze connected-system data to improve maintenance strategies and outcomes-based performance • Conduct maintenance maturity assessments, program audits, and system/equipment audits • Oversee root cause failure analyses and determine corrective actions • Integrate BAS, fault detection and diagnostics, maintenance, and capital planning data for life-cycle analyses and repair-versus-replacement recommendations • Support site-level Asset Management & Reliability programs, operational compliance, safety, regulatory compliance, cost savings, and energy conservation • Coordinate engineers, technicians, and third-party resources for cost-effective improvements • Create and optimize preventative maintenance tasks and rank asset criticality using Reliability Centered Maintenance approaches • Create and conduct reliability studies, interpret drawings and schematics, and develop risk mitigation strategies • Investigate new reliability technologies and support equipment failure investigations • Plan and perform engineering operations, monitor operations center systems, implement RCM programs, and conduct equipment condition assessments • Identify and manage continuous-improvement systems for chronic bad-actor equipment • Maintain accurate CMMS equipment records, plans, specifications, BOMs, and failure histories • Develop and maintain equipment reliability KPIs and maintenance/reliability metrics • Collaborate with Maintenance and Planning groups • Execute facility condition assessments across labs, manufacturing, office, and distribution locations in the Americas • Inspect, document, and prioritize asset and field conditions to evaluate remaining useful life • Compile portfolio-wide findings for capital planning and life-cycle asset management • Support commissioning for upgrade, renovation, and construction projects • Perform other assigned work

🎯 Requirements

• BS in an Engineering discipline; mechanical or electrical preferred • Five to 10 years’ experience implementing RCM and CbM/PdM methods, operating building automation and energy management systems, and applying asset management, data analytics, and capital planning approaches • Experience with building automation systems and automated fault detection and diagnostics integrated with connected systems • Experience in critical or regulated environments preferred, including data centers, laboratories, manufacturing, automotive, petro-chemicals, or pharmaceuticals • Extensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire suppression systems • Extensive knowledge of commercial, critical, manufacturing, laboratory, or distribution facility types • Ability to use various computerized maintenance management systems and IT tools • Ability to read, comprehend, and apply technical manuals and reference materials • Ability to make informed recommendations with incomplete data sets • Ability to balance multiple stakeholder requirements • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and ability to accurately manipulate large amounts of data using different spreadsheet formats • Certified Reliability Leader preferred • Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional preferred • Level 2 thermography certification preferred • Level 2 vibration certification preferred • Level 2 ultrasound certification preferred • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
