📋 Description

• Oversee daily multi-state payroll operations • Manage end-to-end weekly, biweekly, and monthly payroll processing • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations • Oversee W-2 preparation and year-end tax reporting • Administer payroll systems including Workday, ADP, and OSV • Audit payroll cycles and verify uploads to the general ledger • Research, analyze, and resolve payroll discrepancies, audit findings, and budget variances • Review payroll reports and respond to third-party payroll inquiries • Assist with workers’ compensation audits • Collaborate with Human Resources, Finance, and cross-functional teams • Supervise, hire, train, mentor, and develop payroll staff • Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback • Manage deadlines, shifting priorities, and sensitive confidential information • Support operational initiatives and organizational objectives • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field required • Six (6) or more years of multi-state payroll experience in a high-volume environment required • Four (4) or more years of supervisory experience preferred • An equivalent combination of education or experience may be accepted • Experience with Workday required • Experience with One Source Virtual (OSV) preferred • Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred • Strong knowledge of payroll processing and accounting principles in a high-volume organization • Solid understanding of payroll regulations, tax requirements, and labor laws • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and payroll systems such as Workday, ADP, and OSV • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment • Working knowledge of accounting and payroll processing and their impact on the general ledger • Basic knowledge of payroll mandates and labor law regulations preferred
