📋 Description

• Support biweekly hourly and semi-monthly salaried payroll cycles for 10,000+ employees • Validate payroll inputs, troubleshoot exceptions, and meet payroll deadlines • Assist with payroll testing, implementations, system changes, and process improvements • Monitor payroll readiness, audit data, and resolve payroll-impacting issues in Workday • Ensure Payroll and Leave of Absence integrations process successfully in the HRIS • Research and resolve inbound, outbound, and external integration errors and warnings • Monitor timekeeping deadlines and escalate non-compliance trends • Provide first-level payroll support through ServiceNow or a similar ticketing system • Analyze income tax wages and liabilities and reconcile payroll results to financial records • Research work-state, resident-state, and local tax discrepancies • Administer ADP SmartCompliance and support payroll tax filings and payments • Reconcile federal, state, and local payroll tax liabilities between Workday and ADP SmartCompliance • Research rejected filings and system integration issues with HRIS, Payroll, and ADP support • Maintain compliance with internal controls, SOX, and payroll laws • Maintain accurate payroll files and documentation • Validate and audit garnishment orders • Develop and continuously improve payroll Standard Operating Procedures

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in payroll, timekeeping, or a closely related role • Strong Workday experience • ADP SmartCompliance experience supporting payroll operations • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to manage competing deadlines in a high-volume environment • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and confidentiality • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including sorting/filtering, pivot tables, formulas, and reconciliations • Knowledge of applicable federal and state payroll laws and regulations • Experience with payroll processing, auditing/reconciliation, and troubleshooting exceptions
