📋 Description

• Build and maintain reliable, scalable, and maintainable software for a mission-critical enterprise product-pricing platform • Manage the complete lifecycle of product pricing across 100+ global markets • Develop modern React frontend applications • Develop Spring Boot microservices supporting REST APIs, event-driven integrations, and batch processing • Work with shared domain libraries and cloud-native infrastructure on AWS • Integrate systems with Google BigQuery and Apache Kafka • Follow trunk-based development with automated CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD • Support progressive environment promotion from Development through Production • Improve code review quality and define architectural patterns • Reduce technical debt and strengthen testing and observability practices • Mentor engineers through coaching, technical discussions, and mentorship • Provide technical direction and help shape the team's engineering culture • Develop reusable prompts, project context, steering files, MCP configurations, and team workflows for AI-assisted engineering • Maintain high standards for code quality, security, and engineering judgment

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience • 3+ years as Senior Software Engineer or Technical Lead • Expert-level Java 17+; preferably Java 21 • Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate • Strong command of architecture, concurrency, performance, resiliency, and error handling • Strong frontend experience with React, TypeScript, and modern state management such as React Query or Zustand • Ability to design scalable frontend architectures • Deep knowledge of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, indexing, transactions, and migrations • Experience designing and evolving production-grade REST APIs, including versioning, authentication/authorization, pagination, validation, and backward compatibility • Experience with unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end testing • Experience with quality gates in CI/CD pipelines • Experience with Git, trunk-based development, code reviews, automated CI/CD, and static analysis • Working knowledge of cloud-native applications on AWS, including EKS/Kubernetes, RDS, and S3, or equivalent • Knowledge of containerization, scalability, and observability • Hands-on experience with LLMs and AI products, including building, integrating, or operating them in production • Leadership potential and genuine interest in leading the team through mentoring, technical direction, and raising engineering standards • Daily use of AI coding assistants such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Kiro, or similar tools across software design, implementation, debugging, testing, documentation, and code exploration
