📋 Description

• Lead, develop, and mentor engineering managers, technical leads, and software engineers across multiple teams • Establish and execute engineering strategies aligned with product and business objectives • Provide technical leadership across complex initiatives spanning multiple engineering teams and technology domains • Participate in architecture, application design, data architecture, security, scalability, and engineering discussions • Partner with Product Management, Architecture, Data Engineering, Security, and business stakeholders on technical priorities and delivery roadmaps • Drive technical decisions balancing scalability, maintainability, performance, security, cost, and speed to market • Establish engineering metrics to improve delivery predictability, software quality, team effectiveness, and operational performance • Lead Agile/Scrum engineering teams and promote sprint planning, refinement, estimation, collaboration, retrospectives, and continuous improvement • Provide technical oversight for scalable enterprise and SaaS applications • Champion automated testing, code reviews, source control, CI/CD, observability, DevOps, and secure software development • Guide teams on technical debt, engineering standards, reusable patterns, and technical best practices • Lead teams integrating applications and services with Snowflake and cloud-based data platforms • Partner with Data Engineering and Analytics on data accessibility, application integration, data quality, performance, and governance • Recruit, develop, coach, and retain engineering talent • Build leadership capability and establish accountability for technical quality, execution, collaboration, and professional development • Foster technical excellence, innovation, ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement • Help design engineering team structures for current priorities and future growth

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience • 10+ years of progressive software engineering or technology experience, including significant experience developing enterprise or SaaS applications • 5+ years of engineering leadership experience, including responsibility for engineering managers and/or multiple software development teams • Demonstrated experience leading teams in an Agile/Scrum software development environment • Experience leading teams responsible for the architecture, development, testing, deployment, and support of production software applications • Experience with modern cloud-based software and data architectures • Experience leading teams developing applications or data solutions utilizing Snowflake • Strong understanding of APIs, databases, data integration, distributed systems, and modern application architectures • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices and tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira and Git-based source control • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical strategies and execution plans • Proven ability to lead complex initiatives involving multiple engineering teams and business stakeholders • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences • Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, API Management, Service Bus, or Azure Data Lake • Preferred: Experience with Snowflake, dbt, SQL, Python, and modern data engineering/data integration architectures • Preferred: Experience leading engineering organizations within healthcare technology, healthcare revenue cycle, finance, analytics, or other highly regulated environments • Preferred: Experience developing cloud-based SaaS products at enterprise scale • Preferred: Understanding of healthcare security, privacy, interoperability, or compliance requirements, including HIPAA and healthcare data standards
