📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain high-volume business logic running on the mainframe • Refactor legacy code so modern cloud and mobile applications can interact with mainframe core data • Monitor architecture and identify opportunities to optimize code and maintain or enhance mainframe performance • Debug, troubleshoot, and analyze complex system interactions • Extract business logic from legacy systems for migration or integration with cloud-based services • Collaborate with a global community of mainframe modernization experts and share knowledge

🎯 Requirements

• Experience working as a software engineer on complex software projects • Excellent coding skills and solid development experience in Java, Python, .Net, or similar • Debugging and problem-solving skills • Demonstrated experience developing scalable and robust software using software development methodologies • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, data mapping, XML/JSON, and REST-based web services • Knowledge of architecture design, including microservices architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, and messaging queues • Deep understanding of OOP and design patterns • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience (preferred) • Certification in one or more hyperscalers: Azure, AWS, or Google GCP (preferred; certifications can be obtained with Kyndryl) • Experience with DevOps tools and modern engineering practices (preferred)
