📋 Description

• Serve as a senior technical authority within the assigned territory and key liaison for HVAC Contractors, Distributors, and Manufacturer Representatives. • Lead and mentor a team of Area Technical Field Specialists. • Lead regional service support strategies and actions through the LG Preferred Service Champion Program. • Facilitate aftermarket support activities within the assigned territory. • Communicate aftermarket support plans across internal and external teams. • Manage technical training plans of Service Champions and ensure robust knowledge transfer. • Manage the Service Champion Technical Conference, including planning and execution. • Provide technical guidance via phone, email, and case support to resolve system issues and ensure customer satisfaction. • Interpret wiring schematics and refrigerant circuit diagrams. • Coordinate with Technical Support, Escalation Lead, Engineering, and Controls teams to resolve escalated technical field issues. • Arrange and facilitate supervised technical assistance for unresolved technical issues. • Coordinate jobsite visits with HVAC Contractors, Distributors, Manufacturer, and Applied Representatives. • Utilize and instruct others in LG proprietary software for equipment selection, application, and troubleshooting. • Review and analyze VRF Commercial, Residential, and Light Commercial systems, including load verification as needed. • Perform critical software and hardware service updates to equipment. • Schedule and conduct onsite service, training, and installation support for LG HVAC equipment. • Research and provide technical information for training materials. • Generate and conduct classroom and jobsite technical training sessions, including a minimum of 12 technical classes per year in LG US Academies. • Review and approve Customer Satisfaction Fund and scrap submissions for the Field Technical team. • Synthesize field technical issues and communicate them to the training development team. • Conduct technical review and provide guidance for factory literature and technical service bulletins. • Support aftermarket rework projects. • Network with regional sales staff to foster technical relationships. • Review extended warranty submissions within the five-day KPI target. • Support LG training initiatives, including authorizing new partner training academies and working on territory training projects.

🎯 Requirements

• HVAC Vocational Diploma, Bachelor, or Associates Degree preferred. • Minimum 10 years’ experience in leadership of HVAC field activity or in a technical support role. • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience supporting LG VRF & RLC systems in a technical support role. • Deep expertise in LG Commercial and Residential systems. • Ability to effectively communicate advanced technical topics to LG technical teams. • Capable of managing regions and assigned service champions. • Proven experience setting goals and executing service support strategies. • Demonstrated proficiency in LG product line technical knowledge. • Proficiency in documentation creation and dispersion. • Able to travel up to 75%. • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse client group. • Proficiency in leading technical training classes to customer and contractor personnel. • Ability to troubleshoot in depth service issues via phone and onsite. • Expertise in reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures, with ability to edit and modify. • Ability to write reports and business correspondence. • Well-developed planning, organization, analytical, and decision-making skills. • Proficient computer skills using all Microsoft Suite Programs.
