MAP Retirement is a retirement plan administration and fiduciary services firm that partners with business owners and financial advisors to design, administer, and ensure compliance for employer-sponsored retirement plans (such as 401(k) Safe Harbor plans). They provide plan administration, compliance reviews, fiduciary support (including acting as a 3(16) fiduciary), and tiered service options from guidance to full-service plan management, plus payroll/HR support and coordination with recordkeepers and investment partners. Their services focus on minimizing risk, reducing administrative burden, and improving plan outcomes for employers and employees.

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary relationship manager for the technology Managed Service Provider (MSP) • Manage Microsoft licensing and ensure licensing compliance and optimization • Manage and optimize cloud-based and hybrid technology infrastructure • Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Intune, SharePoint Online, Entra ID (Azure AD), Teams, and Exchange Online • Oversee endpoint management and device compliance through Microsoft Intune • Ensure infrastructure service availability, security, performance, and scalability • Manage employee technology equipment procurement, deployment, inventory tracking, refresh planning, and retirement • Develop and maintain employee onboarding and offboarding processes • Partner with cybersecurity stakeholders on security controls, monitoring, patching, and vulnerability management • Support audit, compliance, risk management, and SOC 2 certification initiatives • Support continuous improvement across infrastructure and technology operations • Assess infrastructure, security, applications, licensing, and technology risks associated with acquisition targets • Develop and execute integration plans for newly acquired firms • Coordinate technology consolidation, migrations, infrastructure standardization, tenant integration, endpoint transitions, and user onboarding

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience • 5+ years of progressive infrastructure, systems administration, or IT operations experience • Experience preferably in the retirement or financial services industry • Experience managing and partnering with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) • Strong experience with Microsoft 365 technologies, including Microsoft Intune, SharePoint Online, Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft Teams, and Exchange Online • Experience managing Microsoft licensing and subscription environments • Experience administering cloud infrastructure platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure • Experience managing endpoint security, patching, compliance, and device management • Experience with hardware lifecycle management, asset management, and laptop inventory controls • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills • Proactive problem solving and ability to drive strategic results • Ability to balance competing priorities while maintaining a strong customer-service mindset
