📋 Description

• Interact daily by phone with patients/customers to answer questions or receive payments • Post insurance payments daily and balance deposits • Assist team members with billing and insurance questions • Investigate and resolve denials and appeal denials • Interact daily by phone with insurance companies to resolve payment issues • Perform coding during peak seasons • Ensure accuracy of medical coding, payment posting, and client account balancing

🎯 Requirements

• Must be located within 2 hours' drive of Shepherdsville, Kentucky • Excellent verbal and written communication skills by phone or in person • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, and Workers’ Compensation insurance billing guidelines • Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records • Previous experience with claims, payment posting, denials, appeals, and coding • Ability to work full days from home with no interruptions • High school diploma or equivalent • At least two years of coding experience required • Constant ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer • Constant use of hands for typing • Ability to speak by phone for at least 50% of the day
