📋 Description

• Write, maintain, and enhance product-level code across the entire codebase • Participate in technical design reviews • Work cross-functionally in agile sprints with product managers, designers, and engineers • Follow coding best practices and team standards • Participate in peer code reviews • Triage, debug, and troubleshoot complex system issues under senior-engineer guidance • Drive system performance improvements • Refactor legacy code • Maintain and evolve technical documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Strong, foundational proficiency in Kotlin and SQL • Track record, or highly impressive academic/personal projects, of building robust applications • Understanding of Event-Driven Architecture • Exposure to streaming tools such as Apache Kafka or Pub/Sub systems • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes • Solid grasp of IoT systems • Experience handling large-scale datasets • Experience caching real-time data • Experience building effective data pipelines • Hands-on exposure to, or strong interest in, modern agentic code generation tools • Prior exposure to, or deep curiosity about, hardware integration and embedded systems • Eagerness to learn • Aptitude for solving complex problems • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment • Legally eligible to work in either Canada or the United States
