Miris is a developer-focused SaaS platform that streams high-fidelity 3D content to any device without downloads or heavy infrastructure. The platform ingests OpenUSD assets (up to 10GB), uses AI-driven optimization to generate multi-resolution LODs, compress geometry and textures, and produce stream-ready assets that adapt quality per device and network. Miris delivers assets via a global CDN with predictive caching and provides a lightweight Web SDK (React/Vue/vanilla JS) integrating with three. js, enabling progressive, low-latency 3D streaming for web, mobile, and XR clients.

📋 Description

• Build plugins and exporters inside Substance, Maya, Blender, Houdini, Unity, and Unreal • Build integrations into asset management systems, content management systems, and web/SaaS destinations • Own integrations end-to-end, including scoping, development, packaging, release, documentation, and ongoing support • Extend the shared integration framework • Maintain asset fidelity across pipelines, including USD, material attributes, texture standards, scene scaling, and color spaces • Troubleshoot rendering discrepancies across target platforms • Work with partner platforms, SDKs, and APIs to overcome integration constraints • Write documentation and sample code for external developers and artists • Partner with asset pipeline, streaming, and cloud engineering teams • Work directly with DCC and platform vendors on joint integrations

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years shipping production software • Python plus C++, C#, or TypeScript at a production level • Strong graphics literacy, including PBR materials and color spaces • Hands-on experience with OpenUSD, glTF, FBX, or Alembic • Ability to explain why the same asset looks different in two renderers • Proven ability to debug complex asset pipelines across third-party systems • Experience with DCC tool integration (Substance, Maya, Blender, Unreal) and/or platform integrations (SaaS APIs, OAuth, webhooks) • Familiarity with OpenUSD composition/schemas, AOUSD involvement, OpenPBR, or MaterialX is a plus • Experience with web/XR graphics runtimes such as Three.js, WebGL, WebGPU, visionOS, or Quest is a plus • Exposure to color management, tonemapping, open source contributions, or joint vendor integrations is a plus • Experience in customer-facing roles during technical integrations, or domain exposure in e-commerce, media and entertainment, or AEC is a plus
