📋 Description

• Deliver software consistently in agile, iterative, and continuously improving teams • Refine mastery of software development practices and develop areas of core technical expertise • Write excellent, well-tested, and optimized code • Communicate with product stakeholders to refine requirements for new work items • Develop and own technical design documents, architecture, and design patterns for owned work • Apply team coding standards, design patterns, and SDLC practices • Identify pain points in technology, tooling, and processes and implement feasible improvements • Participate in mentoring junior peers and share technical knowledge through code reviews and collaboration • Communicate progress through written asynchronous updates, stand-ups, and regular touchpoints • Estimate work, identify risks, and communicate changes to expectations or requirements • Contribute to documentation and internal knowledge sharing • Research developments in the field and share new knowledge with the team • Operate with autonomy in a fully remote environment and build relationships with peers, stakeholders, and counterparts • Learn from incidents and feedback and apply fixes rapidly

🎯 Requirements

• Mid-level software engineering proficiency • Core technical expertise with ability to produce excellent, well-tested, optimized code • Ability to provide meaningful, actionable feedback in pull request reviews • Effective communication with product stakeholders to refine requirements • Ability to develop and own technical design documents • Understanding and application of coding standards, design patterns, and SDLC practices • Ability to identify technology, tooling, and process pain points and implement improvements where feasible • Ability to estimate work in well-understood areas and identify and flag risks in unfamiliar areas • Ability to revise estimates when new information or changing work conditions affect requirements • Automated testing experience, including unit and integration tests; end-to-end tests when needed • Documentation and internal knowledge-sharing experience • Ongoing research and development of core technical skills • Ability to operate autonomously and responsibly in a fully remote environment • Ability to communicate blockers and new information proactively • Ability to learn from incidents and feedback and apply fixes rapidly
