📋 Description

• Analyze US Navy operational priorities and map fleet requirements to tactical radio solutions • Support technical planning, network configuration, and live-on-the-air execution of field trials, modernizations, and user evaluations • Collaborate with Applications Engineering using continuous testing and competitive benchmarking data • Align with Business Development on technical needs and strategic priorities • Build and present technical demonstrations for maritime operational edge networking • Provide technical input and review support for RFI/RFP proposal responses • Conduct market research to identify industry integrations and test end-to-end network architectures • Support engagement with technical stakeholders across NAVWAR, PEO C4I, NAVAIR/NAVSEA, ONR, and NIWC • Gather fleet feedback and maritime requirements, translate them into product roadmap inputs, and track engineering progress • Travel frequently, up to 50%, for field tests, customer meetings, events, and demonstrations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related C5ISR field with 2–5 years of demonstrated experience in systems engineering, technical business development, or defense technology roles; OR High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant technical or defense experience • Exposure to or working knowledge of Software-Defined Radios (SDRs), IP-based routing protocols, or tactical communication systems • Basic familiarity with RF test equipment, such as spectrum analyzers and signal generators • Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain one within 15 months of hire • Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts • Successful clearance of a background check and drug test • Basic understanding of US Navy tactical organizations or unmanned systems • Practical experience with TCP/IP networking, Linux environments, or scripting languages such as Python or C++ for test automation • Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain technical concepts effectively • Ability to work effectively in a remote team setting • Ability to lift equipment up to 50 lbs.
