📋 Description

• Analyze raw data from various sources • Develop and maintain datasets, schemas, and models • Improve data quality and efficiency • Document data flows and mappings • Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and other stakeholders • Develop internal and external reports • Assist with building out the data dictionary • Analyze datasets to ensure alignment with organizational objectives • Advise on updated reporting to capture data through mapping and format it into usable, interpretable formats • Bring innovation and creativity to legacy technologies and programs to drive and shift changes • Perform related duties as assigned within scope of practice • Support mission-critical operations requiring a flexible schedule for 24/7/365-day operations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field • Minimum of five (5) or more years experience in a data engineering role; management experience a plus • Knowledge of data structures, algorithms and programming languages, preferably SQL, Python, and R • Experience with PowerBI • Experience in data engineering, development or analysis • Experience with Azure platform • Knowledge of data security and compliance, including data encryption, access control, data masking, and safe handling of PII • Proficiency in database systems, tools and frameworks • Data visualization, communication and presentation skills • Strong computer skills in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Teams • Ability to type 45 wpm • Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance • Favorable credit check for cleared positions • Successfully pass a background investigation and drug screen • May be required to pass position-specific requirements, such as DOT exam, vaccinations, CPR, or flu shot • US Citizenship • Ability to write, type, and use a telephone system • Ability to attend meetings with managers and employees
