📋 Description

• Develop scalable, cloud-based media encoding pipelines • Support workflow orchestration, metadata publishing, task prioritization, and catalog management • Generate media assets in various formats and quality levels • Propagate media metadata across the surrounding ecosystem • Build infrastructure supporting on-demand streaming, ads, free-to-air broadcast television, video podcasts, and other media workflows • Collaborate with technical and non-technical partners across cross-functional teams • Own projects from conception through production • Apply automated testing, code quality, and engineering best practices

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of working experience • Proficient in Java and OO design principles • Experience in designing and developing large-scale distributed systems • Experience with cloud computing platforms such as Amazon AWS • Experience in media encoding system development is a plus • Ability to learn new technologies • Passion for automated testing, code quality and engineering best practices • Ability to work with lots of context and minimal guidance • Excellent communication skills • Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical cross-functional partners • Ability to take full ownership of projects from conception to production
