📋 Description

• Design, build, automate, secure, and operate AWS cloud platform capabilities for the Grant Solutions platform modernization program • Implement and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines, automated build and deployment workflows, quality gates, vulnerability scanning, secrets management, policy enforcement, and release automation • Develop, maintain, and improve Infrastructure as Code for repeatable, auditable, and compliant environment provisioning • Support cloud-native application delivery using AWS services, container platforms, serverless services, managed databases, networking, IAM, logging, monitoring, and security services • Standardize reusable pipeline templates, deployment patterns, environment configurations, shared libraries, and automation scripts with software engineering teams • Embed automated security controls across the software delivery lifecycle • Implement observability including centralized logging, metrics, dashboards, alerts, tracing, health checks, and production readiness monitoring • Support secure environment management, configuration management, access control, network segmentation, encryption, secrets handling, backups, disaster recovery, and release coordination • Collaborate with architects, security teams, vendors, Federal stakeholders, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, project managers, executive leadership, and engineering teams • Align platform capabilities with enterprise architecture, FedRAMP Moderate expectations, NIST controls, governance standards, and program security requirements • Troubleshoot platform, pipeline, deployment, integration, performance, and operational issues; identify root causes and implement improvements • Support continuity of the legacy system during modernization

🎯 Requirements

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust; approved adjudication required before onboarding • Bachelor's degree required • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in platform engineering, DevSecOps, cloud engineering, infrastructure automation, site reliability engineering, systems engineering, or related technical roles • Hands-on experience with AWS services including ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, IAM, and Systems Manager • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar tools • Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar frameworks • Experience implementing DevSecOps practices, automated testing, vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and secure software delivery • Experience integrating static code analysis, dependency scanning, container/image scanning, infrastructure scanning, secrets detection, artifact management, and security quality gates into pipelines • Experience with AWS identity and access management, networking, logging, monitoring, encryption, secrets management, and security services • Strong experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms such as ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes • Experience managing application deployments, environment configuration, release automation, and production support • Experience implementing observability using monitoring, logging, alerting, tracing, and dashboards • Experience supporting highly available, scalable, and resilient cloud environments, including disaster recovery and operational readiness • Experience with Linux administration, shell scripting, and automation using Python, Bash, or similar languages • Experience troubleshooting infrastructure, networking, application, and deployment issues across distributed cloud environments • Familiarity with VPCs, load balancers, DNS, security groups, WAF, VPNs, and private connectivity patterns • Ability to create reusable platform patterns, pipeline templates, runbooks, automation scripts, environment standards, and technical documentation • Strong understanding of SDLC, agile delivery, release management, change management, operational readiness, and continuous improvement • Ability to collaborate with software engineers, architects, security teams, vendors, operations teams, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Federal stakeholders • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills • Exceptional communication skills • Desired: experience supporting federal or government IT programs and federal cloud compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, FISMA, or NIST 800-53 • Desired: experience with Keycloak, OAuth/OIDC, SSO, artifact repositories, SBOM generation, signing, provenance, observability, reliability engineering, multi-vendor delivery, generative AI, AWS Bedrock, AI evaluation, guardrails, and responsible AI • Cloud, DevSecOps, security, or agile certifications preferred
