📋 Description

• Build and manage AWS infrastructure across multi-account, multi-environment landing zones • Install, configure, deploy, and maintain servers and software • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, outages, and incidents • Ensure IT infrastructure security and efficiency through access controls, backups, and firewalls • Work within a SAFe delivery model alongside application, data, and security teams • Support IaaS, IaC, networks, and firewalls • Perform upgrades, IAVA patching, and STIG compliance activities • Monitor performance and maintain systems according to contract requirements • Manage resources in an AWS cloud • Build and maintain internal technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies • Implement multi-region disaster recovery • Contribute to backup, failover, and resilience automation

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role • Effective verbal and written communication with teams, peers, and management • Experience with servers, LAN/WAN networks, and patch management in virtual/cloud environments • Ability to understand, distill, and document solution requirements • Ability to work with minimal supervision • Expertise with Windows and Linux operating systems and platforms • Production Kubernetes/EKS and container experience, including Docker and image building • Active Directory and identity federation integration experience • Secret Clearance required to start • 7+ years of experience in a related field • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience • Security+ Certification • Familiarity with Git, GitLab CI/CD Pipelines, Terraform, and Docker • Experience with STIG compliance and security patching • Knowledge of AWS hosted environments and services • Knowledge of server scripting, including Shell, YAML, and PowerShell • Knowledge of automation technologies • Strong Terraform knowledge, including modules, state management, and reusable IaC • Strong Ansible knowledge • Observability and logging platform knowledge, including Splunk and CloudWatch • Knowledge of AWS Systems Manager for automated patching and configuration management
