📋 Description

• Estimate effort, develop code, and test application solutions in an object-oriented environment • Write SQL and alter the data model • Develop .NET code in the mid-tier • Implement solutions using modern JavaScript libraries in the presentation tier • Follow the software development life cycle for each development task • Apply Agile Scrum methodology through technical brainstorming, coding, and unit testing • Research and learn new technologies to improve current systems and future technology and infrastructure • Modernize existing application functionality, performance, and user interface • Prepare technical documentation or requirements when needed • Collaborate with functional teams to assess requirements and develop design improvements • Participate in sprints, backlog grooming, estimation, and other Agile Scrum ceremonies • Troubleshoot production issues and interact remotely with users during peak system use • Work with developers and business systems analysts to deliver accurate, high-quality solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Familiarity with Agile software development methodology, processes, and techniques • Ability to communicate effectively and collaboratively in a team environment • Familiarity with Git and/or other source control technologies • Familiarity with at least one object-oriented language • Ability to learn rapidly and leverage third-party tools, SDKs, and APIs • U.S. Citizen eligible to attain a clearance • Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent and 1 year of work or educational experience • Knowledge of .NET 4.5/5.0, MVC 4, LINQ, Entity Framework, C#.NET, Telerik/Kendo, T-SQL, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, or equivalent technologies • Experience with simple database administration techniques is a plus • Understanding of designing, developing, and deploying software in a cloud environment; AWS is a plus • Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining unit tests • Knowledge of interface design and user experience • Experience working with React is desired • Experience working with Postgres is desired
