📋 Description

• Keep hardware systems, associated operating systems, and connectivity capabilities fully operational and integrated into the healthcare IT environment • Monitor, analyze, and plan upgrades to maintain adequate capacity and availability • Maintain technical competence for assigned services and systems • Provide technical leadership and support for computing systems and systems integration • Conduct and present performance and capacity analyses • Maintain broad knowledge of server and distributed systems • Diagnose and coordinate resolution of problems with vendors and manufacturers • Respond to customer needs and manage issues through closure • Support application teams with project and support activities • Communicate with customers and team members • Determine strategy for system-to-network connectivity and interfacing • Review technology projects, analyze business requirements, recommend changes, write technical specifications, and implement system changes • Develop project plans, scopes, schedules, and effort projections • Establish and enforce local area network standards, policies, and procedures • Participate in technology planning • Integrate vendor, manufacturer, and point-expertise knowledge • Mentor immediate team and application team members • Contribute to the IS Knowledge Repository • Provide on-call support

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in core discipline • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field • Preferred: 5+ years of experience in core discipline in the healthcare industry • Ability to provide on-call support • Compliance with organizational policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards • Background check required upon hire
