📋 Description

• Create sales opportunities by managing the pre-sales technical process and demonstrating Akamai's technology to customers • Manage the technical proposal process and ensure technical information and recommendations addressing customer requirements are accurate • Track account activity for business analysis and reporting • Design technical solutions to meet customer needs • Lead sales activities such as technical demonstrations and Proofs of Concept (POCs) • Partner with engineering and business teams as the technical expert customers rely on • Build relationships with organizations and deliver innovative solutions impacting millions of users

🎯 Requirements

• 8 years of experience • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent • US citizenship, due to the nature of the client base • Experience in a customer-facing consulting, technical solutions pre-sales, or post-sales role • Experience with web acceleration, web security, infrastructure security technologies, or cloud computing solutions • Comprehensive understanding of the internet, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, HTML, SSL protocols, and cloud computing • Experience presenting technical topics to diverse audiences • Ability to collaborate, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast-changing environment
