📋 Description

• Lead and develop Area Managers, Depot Managers, and Supervisors • Own service and distribution performance across an assigned district of typically 15–20 depot locations across multiple states • Lead an organization of 100–125 employees • Drive safety, operational execution, customer service, and financial results • Establish expectations aligned with company goals and Key Performance Indicators and hold leadership accountable • Drive safety culture and compliance with company policies, OSHA requirements, and DOT regulations • Utilize Field Service Management (FSM) systems to monitor performance and improve routing, scheduling, and service execution • Provide leadership in hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and employee development • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders on company initiatives • Review financial and operational performance to improve efficiency, routing, resource allocation, and cost control • Conduct regular site visits to evaluate safety, operations, facilities, equipment, and inventory • Identify and drive improvement initiatives to enhance performance and reduce cost • Develop and execute operational and staffing plans • Lead or support incident, accident, customer, and employee concern investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective actions • Approve payroll, time off, and related administrative activities for direct reports • Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback • Travel up to 50% across district locations

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma required • Five or more years of experience leading a remote, field-based team in a service operations or distribution environment • Experience as a supervisor of a remote field-based team of employees • Demonstrated ability to lead multi-site operations and drive performance across geographically dispersed locations • Strong working knowledge of Field Service Management (FSM) systems and their application in routing, scheduling, and service optimization • Proven ability to operate as a hands-on leader in a field environment, with a willingness to travel up to 50% • Strong operational and financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, analyzing performance metrics, and driving continuous improvement • Proven leadership capability with the ability to set direction, develop people, and execute against business objectives • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a structured, data-driven approach • Effective communication skills with the ability to engage employees at all levels and present information clearly to leadership and stakeholders • Ability to interpret and apply business, technical, and regulatory information including OSHA and DOT requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications • Four-year degree in Business or a related field preferred • CDL, Tanker endorsement, Hazmat endorsement, and Medical Card preferred
