📋 Description

• Manage California workers' compensation cases from initial assignment through resolution • Represent employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators • Represent clients in WCAB hearings, depositions, and settlement negotiations • Draft and review petitions, pleadings, legal briefs, and other litigation documents • Negotiate settlements, liens, and other workers' compensation disputes • Develop effective case strategies • Communicate directly with clients • Collaborate with colleagues • Maintain organized files and meet deadlines

🎯 Requirements

• Active California State Bar license in good standing • 1+ years of California workers' compensation legal experience • Experience managing workers' compensation cases and handling litigation matters • Strong legal writing, negotiation, and communication skills • Ability to work independently in a remote environment • Ability to attend required California proceedings • Workers' compensation defense experience preferred • Qualified attorneys with applicant-side experience are encouraged to apply
