📋 Description

• Design, build, and operate Payabli's cloud infrastructure • Make architectural decisions around networking, compute, storage, and security • Own and evolve CI/CD pipelines end-to-end • Design automated testing, staged rollouts, rollback strategies, and deployment observability • Own and improve the local development experience • Build secure environments for AI coding agents and assistants within PCI-compliant infrastructure • Define and drive the platform roadmap with engineering leadership • Implement PCI-DSS scoping, network segmentation, secrets management, access controls, and audit trails • Build monitoring, alerting, and observability capabilities • Document patterns, write runbooks, and establish infrastructure standards • Help engineers become more self-sufficient and productive

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional infrastructure or platform engineering experience • Experience building and operating production AWS environments serving real traffic at scale • Deep AWS expertise, including ECS/EKS, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation/CDK/Terraform • Strong CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar • Infrastructure-as-code fluency • Knowledge of network segmentation, least-privilege access, secrets management, and encryption at rest and in transit • Strong communication skills • Prior fintech, payments, or PCI-DSS-regulated environment experience is a nice-to-have • Experience supporting AI/ML workflows, coding agents, or LLM tooling is a nice-to-have • Familiarity with the .NET ecosystem on AWS is a nice-to-have • Experience building developer platforms or internal tooling is a nice-to-have • Observability stack and on-call/incident response experience is a nice-to-have • Kubernetes, particularly EKS on AWS, is a nice-to-have • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Visa sponsorship requirements must be disclosed
