📋 Description

• Support Commercial Loan Officers in managing existing commercial credit relationships and new relationships • Serve as the primary point of contact for existing borrowing relationships • Manage existing borrower relationships and support Commercial Loan Officers with new relationships • Ensure timely annual reviews and document performance against covenants and conditions • Assist in monitoring and developing action plans for deteriorating credit relationships, including watchlist and problem loan status reports • Collect updated information, analyze data, and create periodic loan review memorandums with risk upgrade or downgrade recommendations • Create, coordinate, and review annual review memorandums, property inspections, and commercial real estate evaluations • Underwrite, structure, and help document new loans or modifications to existing client relationships • Seek cross-sell opportunities and direct members to Credit Union services and products • Perform due diligence by reviewing financial, entity, legal, and other documents before credit submission • Monitor portfolio performance and trends, define credit relationship solutions, identify issues, and develop remediation • Underwrite and provide credit approval recommendations as designated • Develop and maintain special reports for risk monitoring, opportunity identification, and portfolio management • Help ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, policies, and procedures • Provide feedback on commercial lending policy and procedure updates • Remain current on industry, market trends, and regulatory changes • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school graduate • Minimum four (4) years' loan underwriting experience, ideally in commercial underwriting and analysis within a financial institution • Working knowledge of commercial lending and deposit account procedures • Knowledge of commercial and personal financial statement analysis • Knowledge of credit approval/annual review memorandums • Knowledge of commercial loan documentation • Knowledge and understanding of lending regulations • High standards for accuracy, thoroughness, completeness, and documentation • Strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skills • Demonstrated customer service skills • Ability to organize work, respond promptly to member requests, and meet deadlines • Demonstrated skills in member-related account transactions • Ability to interpret and explain Credit Union policies and account transactions • Ability to work effectively on a team or independently • Experience with Abrigo Sageworks financial software or equivalent preferred
