📋 Description

• Increase sales of neurovascular products and customer satisfaction within the assigned territory • Work daily with the Vice President of Sales and Regional Sales Manager to ensure superior customer service and product use • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales plans • Develop relationships with existing hospitals, labs, customers, physicians, lab staff, lab supervisors, and purchasing personnel • Prospect and convert prospective customers and/or users into Penumbra customers • Secure and renew orders by coordinating product availability, delivery dates, and inventory levels • Communicate with current and prospective customers about programs, promotions, and pricing trends • Increase account penetration through new and existing product and service orders • Complete special projects and assignments • Maintain knowledge of Penumbra products, services, competitive innovations, sales promotions, catalogs, and advertising • Provide corporate feedback on market receptivity, customer concerns, and issues • Attend assigned industry trade shows and manage follow-up, orders, issues, leads, and correspondence • Maintain accurate sales expense records, customer files, and field sales reports • Adhere to the Company’s Quality Management System and applicable quality, security, privacy, and compliance regulations • Ensure department members follow applicable quality systems, regulations, standards, and procedures • Perform other work-related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5+ years of medical sales experience, 3+ years of which must be in medical device sales; or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Sales or marketing background desired • Strong clinical, technical, and organizational skills • Ability to function in a busy, demanding, and competitive environment • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills • Must reside within the assigned region while in the role • Willingness to travel as necessary, with business travel up to 50% • Ability to wear 7–9 pounds of lead for extended periods • Occasional on-call availability required 24 hours per day, 7 days per week • Potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds • Ability to use a computer and sit for extended periods • Required vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception
