📋 Description

• Work within the Image Analysis team with developers and IA experts to improve and develop workflows • Understand needs for new or improved tools and help guide and direct team members as tools are developed • Serve as an analysis lead overseeing all steps of analysis for imaging studies • Provide support for image analysis and ensure quality control across studies • Follow research and industry trends and integrate them into organizational practices • Identify development opportunities to improve analysis workflows and efficiencies • Partner with scientists and analysts to define requirements • Communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Explain typical workflows to facilitate use, modification, and training • Provide updates on workflow changes and solicit feedback on future improvements • Modify and maintain scripts for IA workflows, including VQS and Python • Create new scripts for IA workflows with guidance from senior members • Test new or modified tools, including validation testing • Oversee and monitor development and testing of tools by other team members • Support training and team-level documentation • May manage a small number of junior analysis developers as direct reports • Identify opportunities to improve existing systems with new techniques • Contribute to the company’s intellectual property through innovative solutions • Publish and present work at conferences • Carry out other reasonable duties as requested

🎯 Requirements

• Solid professional experience in the same or very similar role • Significant demonstrable experience and expertise of working in Image Analysis systems • Demonstrable experience in roles requiring strong organizational skills • Solid proven experience of working in and knowledge of medical imaging or clinical research/development in the life sciences industry • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g. engineering, mathematics, physics, chemistry or biology) or a related study, or equivalent academic or industry project-related experience • English: Fluent • Advanced scripting and programming knowledge (Python, Vivoscript, and similar) • Advanced understanding of core systems • Advanced understanding of image analysis workflows, image science, and modalities (e.g. CT, MR, PET, SPECT) • Strong numerical/statistical background including image processing • Strong source code management skills with Git • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python and/or C++ • Ability to handle production support work • Ability to plan own work to meet given objectives and processes • Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks and prioritize workload with attention to detail • Ability to work methodically in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment • Demonstrable ability to apply critical thinking to problems and tasks • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking ability • Proactively participates in skills improvement training
