📋 Description

• Oversee month-end close processes, inventory accounting, revenue recognition, and financial reporting • Review journal entries and prepare complex general ledger entries as needed • Review accounts payable spend and cash flow forecasts • Review balance sheet account reconciliations across multiple business units, including inventory, revenue, payroll liabilities, capitalized labor, ROU assets, fixed assets, intercompany accounts, and prepaids • Partner with FP&A on budgets, forecasts, and allocation methods • Train and mentor staff and ensure documentation of accounting thresholds, adjustments, and new GAAP standards • Identify process improvement opportunities and support business acquisitions and new projects • Monitor emerging US GAAP standards and assist with implementation • Review financial results for efficiencies and establish internal controls to reduce payment errors, duplicate payments, and fraud • Review customer contracts for consistent revenue recognition under US GAAP ASC 606 • Prepare and review audit support, accounting memos, audit schedules, and statutory audit materials • Manage PBC requests and follow up on audit issues • Assist with strategic initiatives including system implementations, integrations, and acquisitions • Perform other duties assigned by the line manager

🎯 Requirements

• 10 years of relevant experience • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum concentration in accounting or finance • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills • Strong MS Office literacy, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel • Excellent time management and organizational skills • Critical thinking, analytical, interpretative, and problem-solving skills • Ability to process and analyze large volumes of qualitative and quantitative information • Ability to handle complex reporting, short turnaround times, and competing priorities • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial regulations, and accounting best practices, including inventory accounting and US standards • Experience partnering with executive leadership • Experience partnering with FP&A on government accounting requests, payroll data reconciliations, and audit support • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, high-growth environment • Willingness to assist and mentor junior team members and function in a team-oriented environment • Solid understanding of integrated business processes in an ERP environment • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience developing teams and fostering cross-functional relationships • Ethics and integrity when handling confidential and sensitive information
