📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and coach a team of Security Solution Engineers • Find, hire, develop, and retain engineering talent in email security • Assign Management by Objectives aligned with corporate goals • Provide daily tactical and strategic guidance • Identify and prioritize short- and long-term engineering goals • Manage and monitor service delivery interactions • Advocate internally for customers of the managed email security service • Respond to customer escalations and escalate technical issues when needed • Monitor service health, SLA adherence, and customer satisfaction • Provide remediation plans for customers at risk of non-renewal • Manage customer portfolio health through reliable engineering outcomes • Develop and oversee engineering strategies for complex customer requirements • Lead process improvement and automation initiatives • Leverage platform data, telemetry, and analytics to improve detection efficacy and service quality • Plan, document, and identify risks and challenges for production changes spanning multiple services and engineering disciplines • Schedule own time and complete multiple tasks with competing priorities • Maintain understanding of email security platform architecture • Design and implement complex engineering and platform administration solutions • Guide the team on platform configuration, policy management, and security hardening

🎯 Requirements

• Candidates located in the Pacific or Mountain time zones are preferred • Working knowledge of current threat actors • Working knowledge of email security architectures • Working knowledge of platform administration best practices • Deep understanding of email security platform architecture, including backend systems, configuration frameworks, and integration points • Ability to design and implement solutions to complex engineering and platform administration problems with minimum supervision • Independent judgment to drive technical decisions • Knowledge of platform configuration, policy management, and security hardening
