📋 Description

• Build and maintain scalable, cost-effective data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes using AWS services • Ingest data from APIs, databases, flat files, and other sources • Implement data modeling and data warehousing concepts to create analytical layers optimized for AWS Redshift and AWS Athena • Ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability through monitoring, alerting, and validation frameworks • Design, develop, test, and deploy production-grade Amazon QuickSight dashboards • Translate business requirements into scalable dashboards with KPIs, tooltips, user interactions, navigation, personas, access management, and reporting requirements • Validate dashboard functionality, KPI calculations, and data accuracy • Document dashboard design, implementation, testing, validation, and deployment activities • Optimize queries, datasets, and visualizations for performance and scalability • Develop and maintain datasets and data models for Amazon QuickSight and other BI platforms • Gather reporting requirements from business stakeholders and create meaningful dashboards and visualizations • Manage QuickSight assets, including dashboard publishing, refresh scheduling, user administration, and access management • Monitor and support analytics solutions in AWS environments • Migrate dashboards and reports from Qlik, Tableau, or Power BI to Amazon QuickSight

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience • Hands-on experience building and maintaining scalable, cost-effective data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes • Experience with AWS S3, AWS Glue/Amazon EMR, and AWS Lambda • Expertise in data modeling and data warehousing concepts • Experience with AWS Redshift and AWS Athena • Proficiency in SQL, including complex joins, window functions, and query optimization • Strong programming skills in Python/PySpark • Experience implementing monitoring, alerting, and validation frameworks • Understanding of star schemas, snowflake schemas, SCD, and data warehousing principles • Hands-on experience with Amazon QuickSight and its latest features and capabilities • Experience with SPICE optimization, Direct Query, data blending, custom visual creation, calculated fields, and parameters • Experience implementing Row-Level Security and other QuickSight security controls • Ability to independently design, develop, test, and deploy production-grade QuickSight dashboards • Experience documenting dashboard design, implementation, testing, validation, and deployment • Experience developing and maintaining QuickSight datasets and data models • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Experience with AWS Step Functions or Apache Airflow • Experience managing QuickSight assets, publishing dashboards, scheduling refreshes, user administration, and access management • Experience with Tableau or Power BI • Experience migrating dashboards and reports from Qlik, Tableau, or Power BI to Amazon QuickSight • Experience monitoring and supporting analytics solutions in AWS environments
