📋 Description

• Provide technical thought leadership informing architecture, delivery, and product decisions across the organization • Own systems and capabilities end to end, with accountability for technical direction, quality, and long-term health • Identify architectural problems, scalability risks, and engineering patterns requiring change, and drive resolution through proposals and cross-team alignment • Design reusable platform primitives and frameworks that reduce duplication and accelerate consuming teams • Deliver across frontend, backend, and data layers • Lead technical initiatives across squad and functional boundaries without direct authority • Set engineering standards and patterns for API design, data modeling, testing, and code quality • Identify technical risk and delivery concerns proactively and propose mitigations • Develop engineers through design reviews, mentorship, and knowledge transfer • Communicate technical decisions and tradeoffs to engineering, product, and executive stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• 12 or more years of professional software engineering experience • Portfolio of complex, cross-cutting technical contributions demonstrating system-level thinking • Ability to own systems or capabilities with impact across multiple teams or functional areas • Recognition as a technical authority who sets patterns, drives standards adoption, and shapes engineering culture • Track record leading technical initiatives across organizational boundaries without direct authority • Strong engineering judgment regarding speed, sustainability, pragmatism, standards, incremental delivery, and architectural integrity • Experience identifying systemic problems and proposing architectural solutions before they become crises • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for technical strategy and tradeoffs • US citizenship required • Frontend experience with Angular • Backend experience with .NET, C#, and Python • Data-layer experience with PostgreSQL and SQL Server
