📋 Description

• Support high-growth accounts without dedicated technical coverage through programmatic, one-to-many engagement • Run scaled programs including in-app engagement, targeted outreach against expansion and churn signals, and webinars • Contribute to tools and content powering the broader Field Engineering organization, including health triggers, product-usage growth and expansion opportunities, pricing and sizing tools, POC templates, and enablement content • Partner with Scaled Account Managers and Field Engineering teammates to turn bandwidth, egress, and usage-pattern signals into talking points, outreach, and in-app prompts • Operate startup program onboarding through Intercom checklists, guided flows, and activation follow-up for high-growth AI startups • Partner with Support Engineering to identify recurring mistakes and best practices and turn insights into programs and content • Build and improve the scaled-engagement toolkit, including in-app programs, outbound triggers, pricing and sizing calculators, migration tools, POC templates, and reusable technical enablement • Run webinars, Slack community touchpoints, and pattern-based outreach across account cohorts • Translate recurring customer questions and technical best practices into in-product guidance and self-service content • Maintain activity tracking and feature-request data hygiene so customer signals flow to Field Engineering and Product • Report into Render's Field Engineering organization

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in a customer-facing technical role: customer engineering, solutions engineering, technical support, or developer relations • Comfort operating a high-volume, one-to-many motion • Ability to independently execute clearly scoped programs and build systems and content rather than relying on 1:1 time • Strong fundamentals across cloud infrastructure: containers, deploys, autoscaling, networking, and CI/CD • Working knowledge of Postgres and common database migration patterns, including Heroku and AWS RDS • AI fluency; daily use of AI tools and ability to advise customers building AI-native and LLM-powered applications • Strong written communication • Data-driven ability to prioritize work against team goals • Comfort asking for context or support when ambiguity could affect the outcome • Experience with Intercom or a similar in-app engagement and messaging platform (nice-to-have) • Experience building internal or customer-facing tools that scale a team's impact beyond 1:1 work (nice-to-have) • Experience in a PLG or high-volume account environment (nice-to-have) • Prior experience with Heroku or other cloud migrations (nice-to-have) • Authorization to work in the United States; this position is generally not eligible for new visa sponsorship
