đź“‹ Description

• Provide executive leadership for all Post-Acute operations and establish strategy, priorities, standards, and operating cadence across multiple markets and states • Build a leadership structure capable of supporting operations across at least five states as the division grows • Create scalable systems, standardized workflows, management routines, escalation pathways, and decision rights • Identify operational risks, constraints, and capability gaps and implement corrective actions • Oversee daily operations of SNF dialysis programs through Area Managers • Ensure reliable, safe, efficient, and contract-compliant service delivery across assigned facilities • Support accountability for staffing, scheduling, treatment completion, documentation, inventory, facility readiness, customer communication, physician coordination, and local financial performance • Establish and monitor operational scorecards covering TUR, staffing productivity, labor variance, overtime, travel, missed treatments, census, referrals, quality outcomes, and customer issues • Direct resolution of staffing shortages, schedule failures, supply disruptions, equipment impacts, and service-continuity risks • Develop contingency plans for business continuity, emergency operations, severe staffing constraints, and facility disruptions • Own the full Post-Acute divisional P&L, gross profit, EBITDA, labor, travel, supplies, implementation costs, and operating expenses • Develop the annual operating budget with Finance • Review profitability, identify financial leakage, and improve productivity, utilization, reimbursement, cost control, and contribution margin • Participate in pricing model development and operational assumptions • Partner with Finance, Admissions & Billing, and Revenue Cycle to improve documentation, authorization, claims support, denials, collections, and revenue integrity • Partner with Clinical Quality & Compliance, the Chief Medical Officer, Medical Directors, and clinical leaders on CMS, state, HIPAA, accreditation, policy, and contractual compliance • Own operational implementation of quality and compliance requirements and corrective action plans • Review quality trends and ensure prompt responses to adverse events, infection risks, missed treatments, documentation failures, medication issues, and survey findings • Ensure survey readiness, required audits, and timely closure of identified gaps • Own implementation of new Post-Acute programs after contract execution through stabilized operations • Ensure site assessments, feasibility reviews, construction and equipment readiness, staffing, credentialing, training, physician coverage, supplies, technology, billing setup, and regulatory requirements before launch • Establish stabilization plans, census ramp plans, customer communication cadences, and post-launch performance reviews • Conduct post-implementation reviews and improve future launch repeatability, speed, cost, and quality • Own executive operational relationships with Post-Acute customers after contract execution • Lead service recovery and resolve customer concerns • Conduct and improve Quarterly Business Reviews • Identify expansion opportunities within existing health system or customer relationships • Build relationships with nephrologists, Medical Directors, attending physicians, facility medical leadership, and the Chief Medical Officer • Resolve physician engagement, rounding, coverage, documentation, order, communication, and accountability issues • Directly lead, coach, develop, hire, and evaluate Area Managers and support roles • Build a culture of accountability, support, authority, resources, communication, and problem ownership • Participate in manager-level hiring, interviewing, onboarding, and first-90-day assessments • Collaborate with Market Development Managers on referrals and census • Collaborate with Biomedical Operations, Human Resources, Marketing, Clinical Quality & Compliance, Contracting, Finance, IT, Supply Chain, Clinical Education, Sales, and other divisions • Remain accountable for operational implementation, corrective action, verification, and sustained closure • Report directly to the Chief Operating Officer

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, nursing, operations management, or a related field required; equivalent executive healthcare operations experience may be considered • Master's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, nursing, public health, or a related discipline preferred • Seven or more years of progressively responsible healthcare operations experience • Significant multi-site leadership responsibility for geographically dispersed teams • Demonstrated success building, scaling, or materially improving a multi-state or multi-market healthcare operation • Experience leading through managers, developing leaders, and creating sustainable operating systems • Ability to interpret quality, compliance, operational, customer, and financial data and translate findings into accountable action plans • Experience with full P&L, budget, labor, productivity, and financial performance analysis and tracking • Experience managing executive customer relationships, physician partnerships, clinical quality, regulatory risk, and cross-functional initiatives • Dialysis experience preferred but not required • Post-acute, long-term care, home-based care, specialty clinical services, physician practice, hospital, or other regulated healthcare operations experience preferred • Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and satisfactorily communicate in English • Strong technical/computer proficiency with laptops, tablets, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, etc. • Ability to quickly learn a variety of technical systems and equipment • Regular travel to operating markets, customer locations, physician meetings, implementations, and leadership meetings required; 20–25% expected • Must be able to respond to urgent operational, quality, customer, staffing, or physician issues outside normal business hours when executive intervention is necessary • Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds • Availability to work Monday through Friday and some weekends based on travel and unit needs
