📋 Description

• Investigate and disclose violations of global trade laws and regulations • Evaluate allegations of potential global trade compliance violations through interviews and document review • Manage an active caseload using RTX’s matter-management tool and meet internal and U.S. Government deadlines • Draft disclosures to U.S. Government agencies regarding ITAR and EAR violations • Collaborate with the Global Trade team and other functional organizations to identify root causes, develop compliance solutions, and implement corrective actions • Perform audits and assessments of employee compliance with company policies and government regulations • Develop presentations and brief RTX and Collins Aerospace leadership on ongoing investigation status • Conduct training and employee counseling on regulatory and policy requirements • Document closure of matters that do not indicate reasonable suspicion of regulatory violation • Search company systems, generate reports, and analyze data and trends to identify compliance weaknesses and improvement opportunities • Report to the Director and Assistant General Counsel responsible for the Investigations & Disclosures team

🎯 Requirements

• University Degree and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience • Prior experience in global trade investigations and audits/assessments preferred • Established expertise in export controls laws, primarily ITAR and EAR preferred • Experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry preferred • Ability to draft lengthy submissions clearly, concisely, and coherently under tight deadlines • Ability to multitask, manage, and prioritize multiple deadlines, including occasional work outside normal business hours • Ability to provide timely guidance and practical solutions to other functions • Ability to train stakeholders and present to senior management • Ability to perform factual analyses against complex regulations and company policies and procedures • Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment and remain collegial during disagreements • Willingness to learn and openness to alternative and creative approaches • Ability to accept candid, real-time feedback on performance • Ability to operate independently with limited oversight • U.S. citizenship required • Ability to access information under the applicable program/contract
