• Develop and enhance Ignition Perspective dashboards, HMIs, analytics, and alarms for manufacturing and operations workflows • Maintain and troubleshoot existing applications and implement upgrades or enhancements • Transform data sets into user-friendly dashboards for self-service analysis using Tableau and/or Power BI • Collaborate with digital technology teams and stakeholders to resolve data discrepancies • Translate manufacturing needs into scalable software solutions with cross-functional teams • Configure and manage on-premises and Azure SQL databases • Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and process improvement initiatives • Create documentation and standard operating procedures • Provide basic user training • Support and expand digital initiatives across aerospace and defense manufacturing operations • Build and sustain factory visuals applications providing real-time production equipment insights, manufacturing efficiency improvements, and mission-critical traceability and compliance • Travel up to 15% as required
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Automation, or a related STEM field obtained by start date • At least 6 months of experience in Ignition development • Proficiency in designing clear, intuitive user interfaces • Proven ability to engage with stakeholders, gather technical requirements, and deliver effective solutions • U.S. citizenship required due to export restrictions and authorized access requirements • Ability to travel up to 15% as required • Preferred: proficiency in scripting, dashboarding, API development, and web application creation • Preferred: experience with Power BI and Tableau • Preferred: understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts, including connectivity, data collection, IIoT, systems integration, AI, and machine learning • Preferred: communication, project management, collaboration, problem-solving, user experience, application sustainment, and continuous improvement skills • Preferred: prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience
