📋 Description

• Lead the design, development, and testing of software in an agile, collaborative environment • Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers, delegate tasks, and provide guidance • Resolve complex software trouble reports using debugging tools and optimize code performance • Provide technical leadership in agile execution and drive continuous improvement • Ensure adherence to industry best practices • Contribute directly to requirements, implementation, and test development • Collaborate with multiple engineering disciplines to analyze, implement, and test system modification requests • Develop networking and command-and-control software supporting threat and weapon simulations • Support secure Air Combat Maneuvering Instrumentation systems from concept through accreditation, production, and installation

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with software development, test, and/or integration using Java, C++, or C# • Experience in agile software development methodologies, such as scrum, SAFe, or DevSecOps • Active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance required prior to start date • U.S. citizenship required • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience • Experience with Windows and Linux development environments preferred • Experience with multithreading preferred • Experience with networking and communications protocols preferred • Experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure such as Jenkins, Git, and Bitbucket preferred • Experience with containerized applications such as Docker preferred • Python experience is a plus
