📋 Description

• Support procurement processes, standards, and operational plans, including RFP preparation, negotiation support, and cost analysis • Respond to inquiries regarding purchase orders, order status, changes, and cancellations • Purchase goods, materials, supplies, and services in alignment with company policies and business objectives • Prepare and process purchase orders, coordinate approvals, and support supplier negotiations • Contact suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and resolve shortages, late shipments, and supply issues • Build and maintain supplier relationships while monitoring on-time delivery, quality, and cost performance • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Finance, Quality, and other cross-functional teams • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks • Maintain procurement documentation, records, and reports for audits and compliance • Prepare procurement metrics, presentations, and analyses for leadership decision-making and continuous improvement

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree • 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience • Prior internship, co-op, or professional experience in procurement, supply chain, purchasing, operations, or a related field • Demonstrated professional or educational experience communicating in English and Spanish, verbally and in writing • U.S. citizenship required • Experience with supply chain processes and procurement best practices preferred • Experience supporting manufacturing, aerospace, or defense environments is a plus • Ability to build effective supplier relationships • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and remain calm under pressure
