📋 Description

• Draft, negotiate, interpret, and manage complex proposal and contract documents for the Military Engines Organization • Serve as the primary focal point for external and internal customers regarding contract issues and interpretation of contract requirements • Provide contract leadership and expertise in developing innovative solutions to complex contracting issues • Manage the contract from start through contract close-out • Review terms and conditions and advise on contracting rights and obligations to mitigate contractual and programmatic risks • Interact significantly with managers across the organization and the United States Government • Support the F135 Production and Development team within the Military Engines Contracts Management Organization • Travel approximately 10%

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of contract management or contract drafting and negotiating experience; OR advanced degree and 5+ years of such experience • Must be a U.S. Citizen • Strong customer interaction and negotiation skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to exercise discretion and work independently • Demonstrated team working skills • Strong document drafting skills • Understanding of aerospace business and legal issues • Familiarity with CORE process improvement tools • Strong foundation in contracting knowledge, document drafting, and negotiation skills • Management skills • Good business judgment and project management skills • Experience with FAR and DFARS strongly preferred • Master's Degree or Juris Doctorate preferred
