📋 Description

• Own the global cloud architecture standard for Rubrik Professional Services • Act as the final technical escalation point for cloud architecture decisions on strategic engagements worldwide • Define the technical shape of cloud service offerings • Establish Rubrik PS’s position on emerging cloud capabilities and translate them into deployment guidance • Own architecture and design for complex, high-visibility, multi-region, multi-cloud, and multi-regulator customer engagements • Serve as trusted advisor to customer CIO, CTO, Chief Architect, and CISO stakeholders • Partner with Sales and Pre-Sales on strategic pursuits, technical validation, effort estimates, and risk assessment • Lead briefings and multi-day design workshops on site and remotely • Build reference architectures, deployment automation, design templates, decision trees, and delivery accelerators • Mentor and technically develop Solutions Architects and senior consultants • Define technical competency standards and enablement for cloud • Represent Rubrik Professional Services at conferences, customer advisory boards, and in published technical material • Influence Product Management and Engineering on roadmap, supportability, and cloud-native features • Partner with Support, Customer Success, and PS Operations to improve technical issue resolution, scoping, estimates, and delivery methodology

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years overall experience, including 8+ years as a hands-on cloud architect at enterprise scale • Demonstrated ownership of architecture for multi-region, multi-account or multi-subscription cloud estates • Expert-level AWS and Azure; GCP strongly preferred • Deep expertise across compute, storage, networking, identity, and encryption/key management • Deep understanding of enterprise data protection and cyber resilience, including RTO/RPO modelling, immutability, backup and recovery, and isolated/air-gapped recovery • Working fluency in cloud security and compliance frameworks • Strong automation background with Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, Python, PowerShell, API-first integration, and CI/CD • Track record of influence across a global, matrixed organization and multiple time zones • Executive-grade communication • Evidence of building reusable technical IP • Ability to learn a complex new platform to expert depth quickly • Occasional travel
