Rula supports 90+ conditions (anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, OCD, bipolar disorder, etc. ), provides tools for scheduling and managing appointments, and offers resources like tests/quizzes and a provider directory spanning all 50 states. It serves patients directly and partners with employers, health plans, and health systems, and emphasizes clinical standards, provider reviews, and ongoing professional development.

📋 Description

• Support Rula’s payor and clinical contracting efforts • Serve as a trusted legal partner to business teams • Build scalable, compliant healthcare partnerships • Ensure quality services are delivered • Advise on corporate practice of medicine, fraud and abuse, telehealth, scope of practice, and state AI laws • Transform complex regulatory issues into clear, actionable legal advice • Proactively mitigate business risks • Support daily operations and business objectives • Build foundational legal processes that enable accessible, high-quality mental healthcare

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of related professional experience • Minimum of 5 years of healthcare regulatory law experience in a law firm or in-house • Strategic guidance on healthcare regulatory matters, including corporate practice of medicine, Anti-Kickback Statutes, False Claims Act, Civil Monetary Penalties Law, scope of practice, telehealth laws, HIPAA, AI clinical governance frameworks, Medicare and Medicaid requirements, and reimbursement issues • Minimum of 5 years of contracting experience • Experience drafting and negotiating provider, payor, commercial, network participation, business associate, management services, professional services, and related agreements • Experience working with and supporting healthcare providers and/or healthcare entities • Strong writing, analytic, communication, and interpersonal skills • Ability to provide efficient, succinct, and practical guidance in a fast-paced environment • Candidates must be based in the United States; Rula is currently not hiring in Hawaii • Must be eligible to work in the United States
