📋 Description

• Design, implement, and manage large-scale enterprise network architectures, including LAN, WAN, routing, and switching • Configure and optimize network devices for secure, efficient performance aligned with mission requirements • Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies, including RMF, STIGs, and IAVM guidelines • Conduct vulnerability assessments, implement mitigations, and validate cybersecurity controls • Configure and manage dynamic routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF • Support backhaul technologies for communication systems such as Land Mobile Radio (LMR) • Develop and maintain network diagrams, topology maps, and engineering documentation using tools such as Microsoft Visio • Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot network performance using Wireshark and SolarWinds • Deploy and maintain enterprise-grade Cisco and Juniper routers, switches, and firewalls • Serve as a technical liaison, report progress, and provide solutions to stakeholders

• BS degree and nine (9) years of experience; four (4) additional years in lieu of degree • Expertise in large-scale enterprise network architectures • Expertise in DoD-specific standards, including RMF, STIGs, and JIE • Expertise in dynamic routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF • Experience with advanced network hardware from Cisco and Juniper • Skilled in creating detailed engineering documentation • Skilled in using diagnostic tools such as Wireshark and SolarWinds • No clearance required to start, but must have the ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance • Desired: Experience with Navy or USMC networks or Federal IT environments • Desired: Knowledge of Land Mobile Radio (LMR) communication systems • Desired: Ability to manage competing priorities and support diverse operational environments
