📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive customer requirements understanding and lead complete solution development for price-competitive proposals • Collaborate with business development, capture, proposal, and other teams to optimize proposed solutions • Identify technical staffing needs and coordinate technical personnel for proposal efforts • Coordinate technical leadership and contributors on solution development, proposal writing, and estimating • Provide subject matter expertise to meet customer technical, schedule, and cost requirements within risk parameters • Partner with the Enterprise Architect to design, implement, and govern secure, scalable, highly available Azure cloud architectures • Ensure architectures align with enterprise technology standards, business objectives, security requirements, and cloud governance best practices • Contribute to new concepts, techniques, and standards • Establish goals and provide guidance to team members • Develop innovative solutions to complex problems with substantial technical autonomy • Ensure solutions are consistent with organizational objectives and deliver against objectives and schedules

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 20 years’ experience, or master’s degree and 10 years’ experience, in computer science, systems engineering, cloud engineering, or a related technical discipline • Advanced Azure certifications are preferred, including Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, and Azure Security Engineer Associate • Proven track record designing, deploying, and managing Azure infrastructure and services • Experience with large-scale, high-availability, and scalable cloud architecture • Extensive expertise in Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure SQL Database, Azure Virtual Network, Azure Functions, Microsoft Entra ID, ARM templates, Azure Monitor, and Azure DNS • Experience with Azure security services, including Azure DDoS Protection, Azure Firewall, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and Web Application Firewall • Strong understanding of Azure networking, including VNet peering, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, Private Link, and hybrid connectivity architectures • Experience governing multi-subscription Azure environments using Azure Management Groups, Azure Policy, and Azure Landing Zones • Knowledge of Azure Cost Management, budgeting, resource optimization, and cost governance • Proficiency in Python, Bash, PowerShell, Azure CLI, Node.js, and automation frameworks • Hands-on experience with ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform, and Azure Developer CLI • Expertise with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, Microsoft Sentinel, and third-party monitoring platforms • Experience troubleshooting and optimizing Azure performance, availability, and reliability • Understanding of Azure security architecture, governance, compliance, HIPAA, GDPR, PCI DSS, and industry-specific standards • Experience with Azure Key Vault, encryption, key management, identity management, and privileged access controls • Knowledge of Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Lake Storage • Experience with database optimization, high availability, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery • Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Azure Pipelines • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Container Apps, and Azure Container Instances • US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, prioritization, documentation, and technical leadership abilities • Ability to mentor technical teams, lead cloud transformation initiatives, collaborate cross-functionally, manage multiple complex projects, and stay current with Azure and cloud technologies • FHIR HL7 278/275 transaction experience is a plus
