📋 Description

• Improve systems powering SeatGeek’s technology ecosystem • Develop underlying infrastructure across core compute, infrastructure as code, databases, and networks • Address scaling, workflow automation, and resilience challenges during high-load ticket onsales • Build and maintain developer tools for application observability and reliability improvements • Engineer resilient, observable networking infrastructure across multiple regions • Collaborate with departments on production systems and autonomous deployments • Support deployment, configuration, routing, monitoring, and scalability across the stack • Leverage AI tools while maintaining SeatGeek’s technical and product standards • Mentor and lead team members • Participate in an on-call schedule to support customers

🎯 Requirements

• Experience building business critical software in a fast-paced environment • Experience solving complex technical challenges • Experience with Kubernetes, containers, and serverless compute platforms • Experience with continuous integration, delivery, testing, and code deployment • Experience using observability tools to make performance improvements and forecast growth • Experience improving system architecture, diagnosing shortcomings and implementing evidence-based recommendations • Passion for software craftsmanship and product quality • High standards for code and reliable infrastructure • Familiarity with tools and technologies including Go, C#, Python, Bash, Kubernetes, Docker, ECS/Fargate, Lambda, Postgres, SQL Server, Memcache, Redis, Elasticsearch, Kafka, Flink, Airflow, Temporal, Cilium, Consul, Envoy, CoreDNS, DataDog, PagerDuty, Chef, Ansible, Vault, CloudFormation, Terraform, AWS, Git, and GitLab CI
