📋 Description

• Build AI-native tooling, including agent orchestration components and coding-agent runtimes • Develop CDEs, on-demand provisioning, mocking, and data seeding • Build parallelization, remote caching, test-splitting, and secure progressive rollout pipelines • Create developer portal Golden Paths, scaffolding, and service/API catalogs • Embed automated linting, security scanning, and policy-as-code into workflows • Make core architectural decisions and design systems across the platform • Lead investigations and guide deep-level refactoring • Write rigorously tested code for scale, resiliency, performance, and security • Roadmap large work tracks with reliable estimates and help the team meet commitments • Own a major component of the DevEx platform as a subject-matter expert • Mentor engineers in technical design and architecture • Participate in interviewing and hiring recommendations • Partner with the Principal Engineer and Engineering Manager to turn multi-quarter strategy into shippable infrastructure

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience • Recent hands-on platform or DevX work within the last 6–12 months • Direct, hands-on experience with AI/agent tooling beyond process automation or code-review assistance • Experience using a coding-agent app such as Codex or Claude Code on desktop and mobile • Experience running continuous agent sessions • Ability to orchestrate more than one agent against real work • Experience shipping CI/CD pipelines, build systems, internal developer portals, or test automation platforms in production • Experience with large, potentially distributed systems • Practical fluency with Kubernetes and Docker • Practical fluency with AWS and GCP • Ability to operate independently on a small team • Preferred: direct exposure to coding-agent-runtime work • Preferred: experience driving AI-agent adoption at a team or organizational level, with current work roughly within the last 3 months • Preferred: experience with compliance-sensitive workflows, change management systems, or policy engines
