📋 Description

• Design and architect scalable, resilient, and secure cloud solutions across Oracle Cloud infrastructure and other cloud platforms • Develop cloud strategies and roadmaps aligned with organizational objectives and technical requirements • Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and assess their impact on organizational goals • Drive adoption of DevOps practices, infrastructure as code, and automation frameworks • Optimize application performance and reliability in cloud environments • Design secure cloud architectures using zero-trust principles and defense-in-depth strategies • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, including SOC 2, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS • Implement and integrate identity and access management solutions and security monitoring frameworks • Facilitate customer onboarding and implement a consistent pathway to cloud adoption • Manage and optimize Oracle cloud environments, networking, VPNs, IaaS, PaaS, and SQL systems • Implement and maintain Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Jira, Confluence, Artifactory, and Guacamole • Containerize applications to improve scalability and deployment efficiency • Support the design and development of Shared Services • Configure and troubleshoot cloud, virtual, and physical hardware and software systems • Establish and maintain SQL and NoSQL databases • Prepare technical documentation for development and operational processes • Conduct security assessments and remediate cloud vulnerabilities • Collaborate with development, operations, security, and product management teams • Create reference architectures, design patterns, and technical standards • Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions • Present architectural designs and recommendations to executive leadership • Mentor, guide, and supervise teams of up to five engineers and technical specialists • Lead architectural reviews and advise on complex technical decisions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years or more of experience; Master’s and 6+ years or more of experience; additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree • Must have an active Secret clearance • US citizenship required • CompTIA Security+ or equivalent (IAT-2) certification • Excellent customer service skills, with experience working in a customer-facing position • Experience administering Windows and Linux Servers and related services • Strong understanding of Active Directory, Azure AD, SAML, and related standards, procedures, and processes • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Experience with Ansible, Oracle console, Elastic, Jira, Confluence, Git, and multiple OCI SaaS offerings • Experience onboarding customer log data from cloud platforms to on-premises or cloud-based analysis environments such as Elastic or Splunk • Preferred: Experience with USAF Cloud One or Platform 1 • Preferred: Experience with Zero Trust Architecture • Preferred: 4+ years of prior experience managing/leading teams/projects
