📋 Description

• Serve as a customer-facing endpoint security expert • Take a consultative approach to security projects • Apply a holistic understanding of how security technology enables business • Develop and deliver new security services offerings addressing customer requests and opportunities • Collaborate with CIOs, CSOs, CISOs, security engineers, procurement contacts, and other client stakeholders • Understand SHI’s service offerings across all solution practice areas through training and self-study • Educate sales teams on cybersecurity solution selling and key technologies through individual, team, and company training • Stay current on technology, trends, and market behavior • Conduct self-study and independent work in lab facilities • Develop collateral for cybersecurity sales engagements • Develop use cases in the SHI lab to support sales engagements • Travel for customer meetings, internal meetings, engagements, customer or partner sites, conferences, and SHI offices

🎯 Requirements

• Reside in the Northeast region of the US as required for business needs and as determined by SHI management • Completed Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience required • 5+ years experience in a technical cybersecurity role • 3+ years experience in Security Pre-Sales Consulting • Intermediate experience and understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, HITRUST, and CIS • Intermediate technical endpoint security knowledge, including EDR, EPP, XDR, and other endpoint-related security controls • Ability to communicate and sell complex technical products or services by understanding customer needs, articulating value propositions, and providing technical expertise • Advanced certification in mainstream technologies preferred, such as CISSP, relevant GIAC certification, SSCP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, CPT, CWSP, CCNP Security, CCIE Security, or relevant professional cybersecurity OEM certifications • Travel to client locations required up to 20% • Extended hours required for some special projects
