📋 Description

• Lead technical architecture and solution delivery for VMware Cloud Foundation projects across multiple service domains • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert within the Cloud Foundation domain • Provide architecture and delivery leadership for SDDC, VMware VCF 9.x, VCF Automation, VCF Operations, VCF Networking, and CI/CD pipeline solutions • Serve as technical lead and SME on projects and workshops, overseeing project outcomes • Develop tools, frameworks, and processes to improve project delivery efficiency and consistency • Lead infrastructure modernization strategies, processes, and methodologies • Partner with sales and presales teams to identify and close professional services opportunities • Conduct customer discovery and solution scoping discussions • Deliver configuration, implementation, and upgrade services in customer environments • Mentor and develop architects and consultants • Participate in presales engagements, solution design sessions, and service planning • Stay current on emerging technologies, industry trends, and vendor offerings • Provide technical leadership in presales and post-sales activities supporting solution adoption and use • Develop long-term strategic plans for the Infrastructure practice, service offerings, and customer engagements

🎯 Requirements

• Expert proficiency in PowerShell, PowerCLI, Python, JavaScript, and other scripting languages • Extensive knowledge of DevOps methodologies, including governance and security best practices • Deep expertise in Kubernetes platforms and related technologies • Extensive experience with Agile and Scrum delivery methodologies • Expert project oversight and direction • Expert technical requirements analysis and stakeholder engagement • Expert systems and infrastructure design, development, and maintenance • Expert coding, debugging, and scripting automation • Expert knowledge of firewalls, load balancers, hypervisors, storage, monitoring, security, and orchestration tools • Expert ability to develop Statements of Work and drive professional services revenue • Extensive experience on large-scale IT design, deployment, and configuration projects • Strong troubleshooting, written and verbal communication, organizational, project management, analytical, research, time-management, and consultative skills • Ability to guide other consultants • Required certifications: Broadcom Knight and VMware Certified Advanced Professional • Completed Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience • 7+ years of experience in VMware Cloud Foundation solutions architecture and implementation • 10+ years of experience with VMware and associated products in enterprise environments • 8–10+ years of technical experience with increasing responsibility • Willingness to travel occasionally • Thorough understanding of automation technologies and software-defined datacenter
