📋 Description

• Own reliability, availability and incident response for the SaaS platform, from detection through postmortem. • Maintain and extend cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure, managed as code. • Run and improve the Kubernetes-based production environment. • Write production automation and use scripting daily. • Partner with software engineering teams to make safe deployment the easy path. • Advise engineering teams on infrastructure risk. • Mentor teammates toward independence. • Help shape the growth of the reliability function.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years running production infrastructure on AWS and Azure at real scale, ideally for a SaaS product. • Production Kubernetes and Terraform experience, with real incidents behind you, not only deployments. • Hands-on incident ownership, from detection to postmortem. • Strong automation skills, ideally in Python and Bash. • Experience with observability tooling such as Prometheus, Grafana or CloudWatch. • Comfort making and defending judgment calls without a manager in the room. • Experience mentoring other engineers. • Comfort in a mixed-language environment. • Habit of using AI tools in daily work. • Must be based in the United States.
