📋 Description

• Build and maintain full-stack web application features, including scalable distributed microservices • Own complex features from technical design through production deployment • Adhere to high-performance and reliability standards • Enhance and support the core web application stack for high-throughput traffic • Participate in on-call rotations • Troubleshoot production incidents and maintain high SLAs • Collaborate with Product, Infrastructure, Design, and API Partners • Set high engineering standards and mentor through collaboration • Improve CI/CD pipelines, container-based software distribution with Docker and Kubernetes, and observability • Partner with product managers and designers to deliver customer-focused features • Contribute to decisions balancing technical quality with user experience

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in software development • Experience building and maintaining highly available, scalable web applications • Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks commonly used in full-stack development on distributed systems, such as React, Python, Go, Kafka, SQL, and NoSQL • Strong understanding of software architecture, object-oriented programming, and design patterns • Experience with AI-assisted development workflow • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across different organizations within the company • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills • BSc in a STEM field, with a preference for computer science and software engineering • Bonus: Experience with the shipping and logistics industry • Bonus: Experience with shipping AI-powered customer-facing features • Role can be based anywhere in the US except Delaware, Nevada, Ohio, Oregon, Hawaii, New Mexico, and West Virginia; many roles can be based internationally
