📋 Description

• Serve as the Siemens Healthineers administrator for government-funded grants, cooperative agreements, and contracts • Oversee grant administration from proposal development through award closeout • Monitor compliance with grant terms, funding agency requirements, and internal policies • Manage conflicts of interest disclosures, invoicing, financial reporting, effort reporting, timekeeping, subawards, subcontract administration, documentation, and audit readiness • Coordinate interactions with government agencies, universities, research institutions, and funding organizations • Manage no-cost extensions, carryover, rebudgeting, changes in scope, and other project modifications • Independently manage administrative processes for research collaborations and sponsored projects • Coordinate agreement execution and project startup activities • Support proposal preparation, document collection, approvals, and submissions • Ensure adherence to contractual obligations, reporting requirements, and project milestones • Maintain accurate records of collaboration agreements and funded projects • Maintain and develop internal standard operating procedures for grants • Partner with Compliance, Legal, Finance, Regulatory Affairs, Business Development, and Technology & Innovation teams • Facilitate internal reviews and approvals for grant submissions and collaborative projects • Coordinate with Siemens Healthineers global headquarters and collaboration administration teams • Align regional and global collaboration processes and share best practices • Build productive relationships with academic institutions, healthcare providers, government agencies, and research organizations • Support meetings, reporting activities, and partner communications throughout the project lifecycle

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Public Administration, Life Sciences, Healthcare Management, Engineering, Research Administration, or a related field • 5+ years of experience in grants administration, sponsored research administration, research operations, or program management • Experience working with federally funded research programs and grant mechanisms • Experience managing collaborations among industry, academia, healthcare systems, and government organizations • Experience coordinating contracts, subawards, or research agreements • Working knowledge of federal grant regulations and compliance requirements • Understanding of NIH grant mechanisms and administration • Familiarity with NIH, ARPA-H, DoD, and DOE • Knowledge of research collaboration agreements, sponsored research agreements, and related contracting processes • Understanding of conflict-of-interest management and research compliance requirements • Familiarity with financial reporting, invoicing, and effort/timekeeping requirements associated with grants • Familiarity with both pre- and post-award grant administration • Excellent project management and organizational skills • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills • Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and priorities • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess funding opportunities and compliance risks • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams • Experience with grants management systems and government funding portals is highly desirable
